Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup

Vegetable oil 50.0 ml

Chicken breast, boneless, skinless, finely shredded 200.0 g

Garlic, chopped 10.0 g

Ginger, chopped 5.0 g

Water 2.0 l

Sweet corn, cream style 300.0 g

Soya sauce, light 20.0 ml

Corn starch, prepared 50.0 ml

Egg whites, slightly beaten 5.0 nos

Spring onions, thinly sliced to garnish 30.0 g
Preparation

Method:
- Heat the oil in a deep pan on low heat and gently cook the chicken, garlic and ginger for few minutes without coloring.
- Blend the water, sweet corn, soya sauce and Knorr Chicken Seasoning Powder.
- Bring to the boil; add corn starch stirring continuously and simmer gently for few minutes.
- Slowly drip the egg whites into the soup pan, stirring with a chopstick or fork to form egg strands.
- Season to taste, garnish with spring onions.
